The Doubles Interview

The Doubles Interview

Photobucket

-------------------->EXCLUSIVE SONG CLICK HERE FOR DL<--------------------

Tell us about yourself. Whats your name? Where are you from?

-Well The Stunt Doubles consist of Amizzy (19) and Soheezy (19). We are both producers/artists of our own craft. We are from the BAY AREA! Lived in various places including San Jose, Pleasanton, and other bay area cities. We also have a home/studio in Nashville, Tennessee where we produced/recorded half of our first album: The Outbreak.

What does the word "based" mean to you?

-Man. Based can be interpreted in so many ways but to us based means that you're in your own zone, doing your own thing. Being based is when youre in a zone where nobody can phase you and youre able to escape the bullshit around you by just being yourself. Based is a lifestyle!

How did you get into the music industry? What inspired you?

-Thats a great question. It really all began one Friday night in high school. There was no parties that night so we stayed in and decided to make a song. We had both been producing recreationally prior to that night so that was our first time recording. Once our school and friends got a hold of our first song "Thick" they inspired us to make more music and enjoy a hobby/passion we had formed through time. We had always had a passion for music.

What upcoming projects are you working on?

-Well we have a single coming up featuring The Cataracs for our new album titled "I Only See In Doubles." This is definitely going to be our best album yet. We have spent many nights working and experimenting with new sounds and perfecting the mistakes made in previous projects. It will be free to the Public Late December/Early January unofficial date 01/10/10

Are there any artists out there you would like to work with, but haven't got the chance yet?

-Damn there are so many talented artists out there we wouldnt mind working with. We'd love to collaborate with Wiz Khalifa and Curren$y we admire their style and personality they bring into the game as artists. But mots importantly we'd like to collab with all of the Based Community.

Who are your favorite artists right now?

-Thats about to be a long list but to shorten for yall, our favorite artists right now are: Curren$y, Wiz Khalifa, Pharrell Williams, Kanye West, Jim Jones, Lil Wayne, Drake & The Clipse.

What are some things that people don't know about you?

-Haha some of our close friends may know this but the public may not know that we are full-time College Students at our Local Universities. We've always stressed the importance of education through school and fulfilling your dreams. We also strongly push the "Nerdy Movement" encouraging people in high school and college to be proud of their effort in classes and not to be ashamed of their Education and their "nerdy ways." Shououts to my Nerdy Nate Brothers.

Whats some advice you can give the people that want to get into the music industry?

-The best advice is to work hard and LOVE what you do. Make moves and put yourself in a position to be heard. Change the world.

Where can people find more about you?
