The Hundreds 2012 Spring Collection Lookbook
Embracing the impending Mayan-declared doomsday year, The Hundreds unveil its latest Spring 2012 collection lookbook. Arriving just in time for a 23-year anniversary release, the Nike Air Flight ‘89 makes a return for 2012 in Sport Red/White colorway. This review is a little different then the normal. This is what I will call an EXPRESS review because it isn't what past reviews are. This is quick and to the point.
Hat 1 Waves Strapback in Reverse Denim
This hat and all Pink Dolphin hats are perfect quality and they fit how they should. This hat does not have that weird fit that some hats do, so do not worry about that. This is also the first Strapback hat I own and its pretty damn legit! Fits just like snapbacks do! Sorry to say that this hat has already sold out, but if you are lucky there may be a restock, but its not certain.
Hat 2 Flag Snapback in Aqua
This hat, like previous and all Pink Dolphin hats are perfect quality, they fit how they should, and like I mentioned legit. I am a snapback hat guy so you can take my word on it. This fits the simple yet flashy trend that Pink Dolphin continuously follows so you will stand out with it, especially with more Pink Dolphin gear on to match. This hat is still available at their store!
Final Word
Pink Dolphin is still one of my favorite lines and I will continue to support it especially when I support the master behind the line, Cena. I've been around the brand since day one so I have heard all the positives and negatives that come with this line. The one negative thing I constantly hear about is the price, for example these hats being $45 a piece and hoodies being $75. This brand is definitely pricey, but I can tell you that you will not be disappointed with you're purchase.
Pink Dolphin Clothing is at it again with another Limited edition release. This time around it is not a hat, or a shirt.... its a hoodie! This hoodie is extra legit and very limited so if you got the extra cash and can fork up the asking price of $110 then you should definitely purchase it.

Winners of the 2011 National Geographic Photo Contest
The end of the year brings more than just remorse, diminishing bank accounts and dull family gatherings. The start of a new year has us looking back in retrospect, listing a number of “the best of” categories, including music, sports moments, and even photography. National Geographic had the demanding task to review more than 20,000 submissions from over 130 countries for its Best of 2011 Photo Contest. With subjects including cityscapes, ocean-views, the animal kingdom and kinship, to name but a small few, the winning photographer announced a few days ago went to Shikhei Goh for capturing a dragonfly riding out a rainstorm in Indonesia. Awarded $10,000 and a trip to the National Geographic Photography Seminar next year, Goh’s photo, just like many of his competitors, was captured at random in less than ideal conditions.

Despite the unfortunate passing of Steve Jobs earlier this year, his legacy continues onwards through remembrance. The 2012 Grammy Awards will present a special Trustees Award in honor of the Apple founder. Jobs’ contributions to the music and media industry have been invaluable, effectively helping a dying and archaic industry enter a new era and business model with iTunes. And of course his help in paving the way for music consumption with the iPod is something that has been universally accepted as the standard for design and innovation.

If you don't know Filthy Dripped you need to! They are a clothing store that is located inside the Richmond Mall in the Bay Area California. Not only do sell some of the freshest brands there, but they run their own gear there as well. This is along with the fact that when you go visit Filthy Dripped you will meet good people and have a good time while also being able to get you're hands on some fresh gear. The clothes that we got today are from the recent 2011 Holiday Drop.
Packaging:First, the shipping was priority mail! That is great plus because nobody wants to wait for gear to come in! Second, if you live in the Bay Area and you cannot get to the store, you can order it all online and have it at your house 2 days later. Lastly, everything was in one poly bag which is even more security for the purchase and arrival of your purchase.
Design: Their designs are excellent, eye-appealing, and BAM bright as usual. As you can see they are high quality printed bright tees! Everything is also tagged the way they should be as well! These tees, their store, the designs... they all speak for themselves and come together in a perfect way.
Quality: Filthy Dripped's Clothing is premium solid-quality clothing. All the shirts are well fitting to the size you are. The shirts that they print on are once again solid shirts, they are not those American Apparel shirts that have the neck slowly expand over time due to wear and tear. These shirts stay true, I know this because I still have tees from 2008 that still look and fit like new!
Whats left: There were no extra goodies in this package, but if you visit Filthy Dripped you can get yourself some Filthy Dripped Snapbacks, some stickers, and more!

How did you get involved with modeling? How long have you been doing it for? - I was a child actor and ended up working some print gigs. I still act, but modeling pays the bills.
What is your favorite part about modeling? What is your least favorite part? - I am a creative person so I love photo shoots as a whole. The set design, theme, wardrobe, make up, lighting... it’s fun being the center of it.
What has been the highlight so far of your modeling career? - Going to Barnes and Noble and buying a magazine I had a 6 page spread in.
Being a model, and noticing what people like about you, what part of your body would you say attracts the most attention? - Definitely my eyes, they are an unusual color and appear to change color. Most of the time they are a really light seafoam green.
If you could choose one person to have a photo shoot with, who would it be? Why? - Ken Jeong, the asian guy from the Hangover. I think it would be a riot to work with him, he’s hilarious.
If you had the option to model for any brand in the world, what brand would it be? Why? -I would love to model Alexander Mcqueen; my favorite designer because of the outrageous rock inspired design.
What is something that people don’t know about you? - I used to want to be in the CIA and had a room in my house that was filled with surveillance equipment.
What is the worst and best thing anybody has tried to do to get your attention? - I once had a guy carve my name into his arm. I think he was trying to show his devotion, but it was borderline creepy. A great thing that caught my attention was when my now boyfriend bought us a star from the International Star Registry.
What do you think of the word “based” and what it represents? - Based is when you live your life to the fullest and own all of your decisions. You regret what you don’t do in life, and not what you do.
What words of advice would you give to all the young girls out there aspiring to be models? - I would suggest having confidence before entering the industry. A lot of people move to LA or NY to try and “find themselves.” If you don’t have a strong sense of who you are the city will eat you up and spit you out.

Although several previews have surfaced over the last few weeks, we’re finally given a clearer look into the upcoming white/cement grey retro of the Air Jordan IV. In the recent release they dropped the Fall/Holiday gear, which they dubbed The Affiliated Collection they used the words, "Embarking alone on a journey to search for something greater. To find closure and to achieve colossal…" That is the uniqueness that attracted me to this line over the last year, with that I got the opportunity to get a hold of them and we put this together! Shout out to Gisel and Bryant!
Packaging:First off, the shipping was priority mail! That is a huge plus because nobody wants to wait for gear to come in! Second, all of the items in the package were all individually wrapped in poly bags! As you can see solid, secure, and quick.
Design: Their designs are excellent. They are crisp and they have that head turning trying to figure out what is going on feel. What I mean by that is... with STEALTH MADE across your chest, or the POLO logo remade as DOLO with a headless man holding a skull in his arm, people will want to know what it means and where they can buy it at.
Quality: DefamNation Clothing is premium quality clothing. All the materials are well fitting as well. Whatever your size, it will fit you correctly. One thing I liked in particular was the crew-neck, the sleeves were not too baggy and the bottom was tighter for a real fit! Some crews are just too baggy, but not these! Another cool part of this line is the branding on the sleeves for extra appeal.
Whats left: My favorite part of all of this are the extra goodies that come along with the gear. In this case we have stickers, a hand towel, pins, coupons, and a lighter... yes a lighter! Not only can you get a discount on you're next purchase, but you can deck out your gear with pins and add stickers to whatever! Defam also adds a branded lighter to this as well, so now you can be lighting up in style too!

Based in Milwaukee, WI, Amerikas Addiction is a two-member group made up of vocalist/emotionalist, Ebonix, and sound/ambiance producer, J The Truth. Amerikas Addiction operates under Black House Productions and draws influces from the hiphop, alternative, punk, reggae, dance, and techno music cultures. The group began as the notorious, “Black House Gang,” which earned them nominations for, “Best Rap/Hi pHop Act,” in 2007 and 2010 by the Wisconsin Area Music Industry. Tell us about yourself. What’s your name? Where are you from? J-THE TRUTH - My name is just a combination of my first name Joshua and the fact that I am a Truth seeker. Meaning that I have to know all alternatives and sides to a story, i accept nothing at face value. I need the truth, no matter how painful it may be to know. I am from Milwaukee, though sometimes I feel like a space cadet in the world.
ADDICTION AKA EBONIX - Ebonix was giving as a nick name in high school when I used to rap for people i bent words and used alot of slang lol. Addiction is because I'm an addictive person, people just get hooked one me, they become intrigued with me as a person therefore addiction lol.
How did you get your start in the music industry? Who or what inspired you? J-THE TRUTH - I got my start with my brother Tim aka Heru (R.I.P) and his best friend Lee aka Babaloa. They called themselves the Alkhemysts. I was always a beating on the pots and pans and playing records type of kids, but once I got old enough to read The Source and about musicians/record labels, it was over. I became totally immersed in music culture. I have an appreciation for all artists and all careers/functions in it.
ADDICTION - Just recording you know and promoting hard on myspace, I always loved to write and act and express myself artistically no matter if it was drawing or painting or dancing, the older i got the more my vocabulary expanded and i began to write poems to express myself and then all of a sudden i got into writing songs when i was introduced to "J The Truth" my producer at the age of 16 by my dad.
What upcoming projects are you working on? J-THE TRUTH - Our upcoming video for "Blame It On the Drugs". We plan on it being epic and ground breaking and shocking. We want to the world to see it…and be either addicted or completely pissed off!
ADDICTION - "Black Magick" 12-31-11 one of our biggest projects and most important in my eyes lol. More addicts are listening this time around!
Since the start of your music career what is, in your opinion, the best track you have ever made? J-THE TRUTH - Addiction or Ebonix would disagree… but I love the track "College Girl" Its a raw, uncut party song. Maybe its because I truly don't party unless we are on stage or are throwing a party that I truly throw all my thoughts to the side. It is during this song that I lose control and let the other side take over my body. The song itself is not deep in a sense, but it speaks upon our primal instincts as men and what we sometimes think when being with a woman…judge me lol. Do What You Desire...
ADDICTION - Best track would have to be a song called "Sandman" Off the Blame it on the Drugs ep avaliable at itunes and our official website www.amerikasaddiction.com and all the other fine digital retails online. That songs is about how i have bad dreams that are constantly keeping me awake but sleep at the same time lol Its tricky because i have this sleeping disorder that haunts me "Sleep Paralysis" It sucks so that song is the anthem for people who have sleeping disorders lol
If you could choose one artist to collaborate with on a track who would it be? Why? J-THE TRUTH - For me, it would be to have met an artist like Jimi Hendrix when he was around. He was beyond creative and innovative. He inspired generations of musicians. His style of playing the guitar, his way of singing and song writing and his fashion, actually his whole style is inspiring. I would have loved to collaborate on a track with him and just be privileged to have been in the same room.

J-THE TRUTH - It is the same is ours - "Do What You Desire…" - Doing what you want to do in life. Hopefully what you desire to do is positive, because in its sense, it is a double edged sword or a feather…what you choose to do with it, is in your soul/heart. We choose positivity. Based is about doing what you desire and expressing yourself creatively whether in music, fashion, life and how you touch others that you meet. If the whole world were based, it would be a much more beautiful world.

What’s some advice you can give to upcoming/aspiring artists that you have learned so far that may come in handy to someone else? J-THE TRUTH - Do What You Desire…and all will work out. Dare to be different as well. Pay it forward and don't look for handouts.
ADDICTION - Stay true to yourself and find your own lane. develop a grass roots fan base so you can be a dictator and not a dick taker and labels will approach you.
