Bobby Hundreds: Cut & Sew Progression
For many streetwear labels, the transition from a T-shirt-driven product line to a more mature cut & sew offering is often a treacherous and risky path to take. Built off the back of graphic-laden T-shirts, cut & sew fashion pieces have not always been a forte of The Hundreds founder and Creative Director Bobby Hundreds. In our latest HBTV episode, we follow Bobby Hundreds through the brainstorming phase and material selection process of The Hundreds’ cut & sew offerings. The insightful short video culminates with Bobby speaking on the identity of The Hundreds and the future that he envisions for the label’s cut & sew program, given the rising costs of China-based production that have begun to drastically reshape the way many labels operate.
