Tell us about yourself. What’s your name? Where are you from?
- My name is Ms.Cris. I’m from Detroit but I’m kickin’ it now in the South.
How did you get involved with modeling? How long have you been doing it for?
- I’ve been playing around with it for a few years now but I’ve decided to take it serious for the last couple of months. It started off with someone liking my look and asking me to do a simple test shoot, and it progressed from there.
What is your favorite part about modeling? What is your least favorite part?
- My favorite part about modeling is that I get to be a chameleon. I get to transform and be a character in front of the camera. My least favorite part is the stereotype people perceive of models, especially of those in urban glamour/eyecandy.
What has been the highlight so far of your modeling career?
- Well I’m a fresh face to the industry, but so far I would say my highlight is my ad campaign that’s getting ready to release with spksmen.com.
Being a model, and noticing what people like about you, what part of your body would you say attracts the most attention?
-I would say my septum ring, which is my nose piercing, draws a lot of attention, as well as my ribbon tattoos on the back of my ankles. I also get compliments a lot on my lips and small frame.
If you could choose one person to have a photo shoot with, who would it be? Why?
- I would say with Kanye West because he’s innovative.
If you had the option to model for any brand in the world, what brand would it be? Why?
- Betsey Johnson because she’s fun and corky!
What is something that people don’t know about you?
- That I rap! I have an EP entitled #EVERYBODYHATESCRIS Vol. 1 that will be releasing in February. If you didn’t know already… I bet you weren’t expecting me to say that!
What is the worst and best thing anybody has tried to do to get your attention?
- The worst thing someone has done to get my attention is pretend to cry on my voicemail. The BEST thing I don’t think has happened yet…
What do you think of the word “based” and what it represents?
- I stand behind what “based” represents. Be yourself and speak exactly how you feel. No censors. No mask.
What words of advice would you give to all the young girls out there aspiring to be models?
- The advice I would give to young girls is to be true to yourself and don’t let others discourage you.
Where can we find and learn more about you?
-Follow me on Twitter and on Tumblr. You can also visit my official site mscris2you.com!!!
