"Wrath of the Titans" Movie Release

Throwback Thursday #28

I was on Black Diamonds YouTube channel and I came across a ton of great music videos that are from a while back. This one is Kid Ink before most of you knew who he was. Check it out and enjoy! This video came out about two years ago.

Chris Morocco Director Reel 2011

In 2011, Chris Morocco directed 14 music videos and collected 1.5 million views on his company Movements In Media's YouTube channel. MIM now has several team members including Brian Christ who directed 4 of the 44 total videos released by MIM in 2011. Working with Bay Area giants like Cellski, Jacka, Matt Blaque and Clyde Carson Morocco also helped pave a path for the New Bay. His reel features Love Rance, Erk Tha Jerk, Starting Six, Bobby Brackins, Lil Rue, Nio Tha Gift, Symba, Mike Dash E, Phife from Tribe Called Quest and a guy in a gorilla suit. Taking a look back at a monster year, here is the Chris Morocco Director Reel 2011. Enjoy!

Nike Air Yeezy 2 Wolf Grey/Pure Platinum

The Air Yeezy marked one of the first times Nike ever allowed a non-athlete to design a signature sneaker – cementing Kanye West as a certifiable tastemaker. After getting teasers here and there, solid images of the Air Yeezy 2 in wolf grey/pure platinum have hit the web. Aesthetically, the most striking difference from the original is the hard ridges that run along the back of the shoe, somewhat similar to the recently released “Urban Swift” by Hussein Chalayan for PUMA. The shoe also seems to take inspiration from ancient Egyptian mythology, as the logo on the tongue is of the mythological god Horus, which Kanye famously made into an oversized gold pendant. Performance Torch fabric is used for the tongue, while the rest of the shoe is comprised of nylon mesh, suede and snake skin leather. Other details include glow-in-the-dark soles, a leather lace toggle and chunky metal lace tips. The shoes will be released at Limited Edt Vault, Singapore, as well as other stockists across the world on April 13, 2012.

Peugeot DL122 Bike with Laptop Compartment

France’s Peugeot has developed its latest urban bike concept nicknamed the “DL122 Bike” that features an added structural compartment to house a laptop and documents. Fitting snugly into a space within the bicycle’s frame, the compartment also has the ability to lock its contents into place for added security. Constructed from wood and aluminum with leather accents, a sleek design and 8-speed shifter round out the DL122, which is yet to have a confirmed release date.

Last night (March 13), the tatted-up Taylor Gang general released his long-awaited Taylor Allderdice mixtape, which immediately crashed servers online. Named after his Pittsburgh Alma mater, the free tape—which was released approximately at 9 p.m.— sparked quite the demand, thus crashing mixtape hub, Datpiff.com moments later....

Filthy Dripped Re-Grand Opening A Success

Saturday March 3rd was the Re-Grand Opening of Filthy Dripped in the Hilltop Mall out in Richmond California. I know what you are thinking, the Hilltop Mall? This store alone makes the trip worth it so don't worry about that, just go to this store! There were a bunch of clothing brands and artists from in and around the Bay Area at this event! If you lived in the Bay Area and didn't come, you definitely missed out. You may be hearing more about events like this at Filthy Dripped on a more regular basis so all brand and artists keep an ear out because its a place great for marketing and making connections!
