What's in The Based Update's Mailbox ft. Smithstonean Inc. Customs

Here we go! We got another exclusive "What's in The Based Update's Mailbox?" feature! Who dosen't like getting mail, especially when its clothing? But, we have something new, it isn't clothes, its accessories! Today we got some some great looking shamballa bracelets from Smithstonean Inc. Customs! Continue below to check out the official review of some of their pieces!

Smithstonean Inc. Customs was founded in 2010 by Kenneth Smith Jr. With the dedication and drive to ensure every being is able to display their individuality no matter where they tread, Smithstonean Inc. guarantees that every handmade piece is at its' highest attainable quality, and assures the consumer that they will indeed stand out far more than all others whom they are amongst.

Packaging:The shipping from Smithstonean was via USPS Priority Mail, as you know that shipping is incredibly fast and it is promised to be at your door within two to three days. Inside the box everything is secured extremely well. First you have the order wrapped in tissue-ish paper on the outside just to learn that everything is inside a branded Smithstonean Inc. bag! Inside that bag there are smaller, individual bags for each of the items you purchase. Very good presentation and very professional style packaging.

Design: The designs from Smithstonean Inc. are what caught my attention immediately from their online store and pictures I saw of them on Karmaloop. If you have been on the shamballa hype Like I have or are slowly getting on it you can tell that Smithstonean is ahead of the game. Most of what you see online are typically the same and when you layout these pieces in comparison to others you can pick them out due to the style and design because they are different in a better way. On top of that there are even more and better stand-out pieces on their website and on Karmaloop that are not seen here. For example brighter color choices that would definitely go with other lines that have been featured on this site.

Quality: Lets go piece by piece in the package: The first piece isn't listed on the site which makes the piece more rare! I call it 'The Turq-Pearl-Onyx Shamballa' it features 10mm black onyx beads with a turquoise focus bead and string brings. The second is 'The Hunter Shamballa' this piece features faceted tiger's eye, faceted agate, Bali gold, and gold pave wrapped in hunter green cord. The last piece is 'The Emperor Shamballa' this piece features Bali gold, light colorado topaz pave bead and clear crystal pave bead. As you can see they display individuality by themselves with the way they are put together and with what is used to put them together. They bring a lot of attention to the wrist without being too flashy which is perfect!

Whats left: At first sight it just seems that what is left is the business cards, but what is on the back is what you need to pay attention to. On the back is a rewards type of program, you fill out the five boxes with the dates of your item purchases and then on the six piece you will get 25% off your whole order. I am a fan of companies that give back for loyalty so thumbs up for that.

Is it Approved?: Yes! As you can see these pieces talk for themselves in every way. If you are not into the shamballa game right now, I can't really see any reason why you would not like what Smithstonean Inc. Customs has to offer. Maybe some of these pieces are too advanced for you if you are just getting in to these, but there are plenty of more simple, colorful, and trendy pieces that match what you wear as I said before on their online store and Karmaloop. Scroll down for even more on this in the Final Word.

Final Word: Reiterating what was being said before, if you are not into this craft yet, get in to it before its too late! There are pieces that suit every type of person 'man or woman' where these can be purchased through Smithstonean. Now on to the purchase, the pieces that I have in this review are listed at $230 for the 'The Emperor Shamballa' and $170 for 'The Hunter Shamballa.' But, there are plenty of $60 and $65 pieces listed in the places that you can purchase, all of which I know people that have a fashion sense will love! They really stand out and I have seen people pay more for less attractive pieces which don't even last due to poor quality.

Make sure to check out their website here and even check them on on Karmaloop where there are even more designs to choose from.
