“It’s great having John on the song because guys will love the raunchiness of the lyrics, while girls will love it because John’s so smooth with his delivery,” explains Bobby Brackins. The creative union between Bobby and John came naturally after meeting at a Grammy party earlier this year. Bobby reached out to John about recording a song together and once they linked in the studio, “Fuck Friends,” produced by Trev Case, was written and recorded in one day. “There’s an art to coming up with a good club record and it was cool working with Bobby to create one of our own,” John says.
With plans to start working on an official video for “Fuck Friends” that will be “something different that artists aren’t doing right now. Something unexpected and a little more avant garde,” Bobby has quite the surprise in store for his increasing fan base. Continuing to shed new light on his mixtape, will shoot his new video for radio favorite titled “B.Y.O.B” Feat. After a successful start to the year, Bobby Brackins will hit the road this summer on a West Coast tour dubbed the “Dannon All Day Tour,” taking his new music to cities across the west coast to reach dedicated fans while crowning new ones. Already back in the studio working on music for a new project and simultaneously juggling the upcoming release of his new clothing line “Lost Kats,” with partner and art designer Kayte Susse, responsible for Bobby’s creative mixtape artwork for “Stay On It” and “Pimp Hand Strong.”
Amidst all of his current success, Bobby Brackins remains humble, thanking his fans and media outlets for supporting his music. “It’s not really about the money or fame, it’s just about putting out quality content and creating a legacy. We’re just working!” says Bobby with a smile.
