Kendrick Lamar Visits Mr. Mooney’s Class

At around midday Monday at High Tech High School in North Bergen, N.J., about 40 students are crammed into a small classroom, anxiously waiting for Kendrick Lamar to walk into the room. He glides in with crisp white kicks, a grey long-sleeve shirt, and hair twisting every which way. The 27-year-old rapper has a broad smile on his face. He seems almost as excited as the students, who just might be having their best day of school… ever.

‘Regression’ Official Trailer

The film’s story plot centers on an open investigation led by detective Bruce Kenner involving a young girl who has accused her father of sexual abuse. Over the course of the proceedings, her father eventually admits his guilt, however he claims to have no recollection of past misconduct. A psychologist is then tasked with unlocking the regressed memories, which opens a Pandora’s box of dark, mysterious events that suggest a much larger, sinister problem at hand. It’s set to drop in theaters August 28.
