Tyga's New Album "Careless World" Review

Tyga's New Album "Careless World" Review

In my opinion Tyga has lived up to the last part of the latest album title "Rise Of The Last King." Before I go into this review of the album I would like it to be known that I am a Tyga fan, so my viewpoint will sway his way before I go against him and his music....

It is very hard to figure out what is considered "hip-hop" in today's world, this is for sure. I am not sure if this would be considered an "hip-hop" album or not but, that is an entirely different argument. On this album, Tyga's sophomore album, there are features that include the regulars from YMCMB and most notably otherwise Wale, Nas, Chris Brown and J. Cole. To be completely honest I did really like the album, I enjoyed it, and this will be something that I will enjoy for a while. Even more the album really surprised me, especially the production which is on another level. Big shout-out to the production team!

This is a review so there has to be a negative here for it to be legit, the one thing I did not like was the fact that a lot of the songs on the album resembled a lot of what has been seen from other YMCMB members, like Drake's recent album for example. The funny thing is that same less of a positive aspect about this album is also what really drew me in though as well.

Tyga really does have a Drake type of personality in the sense that one track could be personal and emotional towards the ladies and the very next track could be right back to the street life of "money, haters, and bitches". That mix though from Tyga was nice to see on this new album and I am a fan of an album that you can use to crank up a party, but also one that can be used to chill. That is why I really liked Drake's recent album and Wiz Khalifas recent album. With that, I would give this album a rating of 4 out of 5 stars, do yourself a favor and go pick up a copy!
