What's in The Based Update's Mailbox ft. Pink Dolphin Clothing

Oh yes! We got another exclusive "What's in The Based Update's Mailbox?" feature! Who dosen't like getting mail, especially when its clothing? Today we got a rare discounted package from Pink Dolphin Clothing! Continue below to check out the official review of their newest line!

Pink Dolphin Clothing is a brand that is heavily supported on this site, it was supported when a small amount of people knew about and it will continue to be supported as it grows in popularity. If you have followed the movement you know what I am talking about, its great to see a clothing line grow so fast in a matter of a few years.

Packaging:The shipping from Pink Dolphin was via USPS Priority Mail, that shipping is incredibly fast and it is guaranteed to be at your door within two to three days when it officially ships. When it officially ships is what you need to pay attention to, Pink Dolphin Clothing is expanding fast so when a new line like this drops there are a lot of orders coming in. Pink Dolphin guarantees that your order will be shipped in "5-7 Business Days For Domestic Orders." If you are on the long end of that, just patiently wait... its worth it! Inside the box everything is secured in Pink Dolphin branded poly branded bags ensuring more security.

Design: The designs from Pink Dolphin Clothing are always eye catching, eye appealing, and fashion trendy. The Spring Line arrived with two new distinct things that Pink Dolphin has never done before; the camouflage color way, the Pink Dolphin Anchor. The Anchor design really called my attention, not only because it was a brand new design, but because of the back of the anchor tees, crewnecks, and sweatshirts. The back shows a lighthouse in the Pink Dolphin colorway with the words: "Pink Dolphin. Legendary Vintage Goods." The Pink Dolphin Strapbacks have a great design as well to match: they say "Pink Dolphin Ocean Academy" around the same anchor that is on the gear. Its a great fit and a great design, great work Cena.

Quality: Lets go piece by piece in the package: all of the Pink Dolphin T-Shirts are premium apparel, they are very soft, they fit correctly to size, and they are printed perfectly. The crewneck is even more premium, well printed and soft, but they are a little different in size. As it is advised, "If you like your crewneck to fit snug, order one size down from your normal t-shirt size." I am a size large and the medium fits just how I want it to, so don't stray away from that. Last is the hats, they are not snap-backs, but strap-backs. They are well-fitting around the head, there is no flimsy-ness to them so overall they are strong-solid hats.

Whats left: The cool thing that Pink Dolphin does is give you 'LGND Points.' These points can be turned around into an Online Store Gift Certificate to get yourself even more Pink Dolphin. If you are already buying Pink Dolphin season after season you get to collect these points free to get free money on their site! Currently 15 LGND points gets you a $50 Online Store Gift Certificate. Not bad! Pink Dolphin also has accessories not shown here that include Coin Pouches, belts and jewelry which you can find at their online store.

Is it Approved?: Yes! Pink Dolphin Clothing as you can see meets every single standard and more when it comes to what anyone is looking for in a clothing line. It keeps growing bigger and stronger with every single release so that is all the proof you need to know.... they are obviously doing something right. The Summer line is set to be great with even more new designs, so be sure to stay tuned here for info on that.

Final Word: The number one similar question or I guess you can call a complaint I get is, "Why it's too pricey?" and "It's too pricey." While this may be true, you do honestly get what you pay for with Pink Dolphin. "Legends At Our Craft – is a phrase that not only defines the pride, creativity, and superior quality that we put into our gear, but a phrase that encourages everyone to be a legend in your own craft." That rare, exclusive, creative ideal that this clothing line stands for does come through with their gear. Regardless if you think Pink Dolphin is overpriced or way too pricey for you, one thing is for sure, it will sell out quickly with or without you.

You can still get your hands on a lot of the Pink Dolphin Spring '12 Line which is available here.

  1. I love pink dolphin, but you dont get what you pay for. The materials are cheap but if youre feelin the designs you kinda have to live with that. My only complaint is that they have steadily raised the prices for several years now...about $10 for hoodies and $6 for t shirts.

    1. I'm going to have to agree with the guy above me, the shirts are loosing my attention... they just aren't all that. I love the hoodys, crewnecks, and hats though! Very nice! PD needs to have more sturdy shirts. Also don't purchase jewelry from them, those bracelets fade!

    2. Ya...I got one of there bracelets and its flimsy to say the least. Love the product, but I got a lower end model and that lack of quality deters me from purchasing one of the partially gold bracelets that are $75+

  2. I'm going to keep it real! I do see your point with the t-shirts and the prices. The shirts are by preference, I have talked to many people that love and just as many that hate them, but from what I know they are american apparel which does cost more than the average street tee. Also, the prices really have been on the rise! As long as people keep up with them though they won't get cheaper, it will take people not purchasing them due to the high prices before they decrease.

    1. I really appreciate you giving sensible responses like this despite PD being a huge sponsor here, one of many reasons why I've been an avid reader of this blog for over a year now. Keep doing you man, you got a great thing going here.

    2. No problem at all and thank you for following the site! I'm not here to trick anybody. Every brand is the same way big or small, some people, even the most dedicated supporters love certain materials and not others because of preference. I mean really that's what it comes down to in my opinion, preference.

  4. Pink Dolphin Si My Favorite Brand. I Just Wish Their Tees Were A Lot Thicker, I Love The Crewnecks And Hoodies. But The Tees Disappoint, As Far As Thickness And The Way They Fit.

  5. Quality is very cheap and the shirts are thin. You can see right through them.

  6. Pink+ Dolphin is the dopesters brand I've ever bought. I always had trouble deciding amongst Trukfit, Last Kings, Neff, and Diamond, but Pink+ Dolphin suits me to the finest point.
