(Hollywood, CA- July 9th 2012) Los Angeles bred lyricist Micky Munday released his musical story “American Beauty” July 7th (The Press Entertainment) American Beauty is the third project from the talented artist under The Press. The first, titled "Temporary Insanity" was released in March of 2010 with highlighted features from Preach Da truth and beats from DJ Mustard. The second, titled "Smokin Break" was released on Valentines Day of 2011. This Mixtape was a true example of what was to come from this amazing artist in 2012. American Beauty is a genre-defying piece of art. You’ll hear raw hip-hop in songs like clouds and hard to breathe, soul in songs like “4U” and the BJ The Chicago Kid assisted track “Now Or Never”, rock and roll in “American Beauty “ and “Super Mad”, club anthems such as “Richard Nixon” and “Ted Dibia$e.” and R&B influence in the singer/songwriter Knotch assisted “I’m Ready” and “Makin You Love Me.”

The leading single is The Rej3ctz assisted, high-energy club banger “Richard Nixon!” The song is already being played in Hollywood Clubs and has received radio play from one of southern California’s prominent radio stations, 99.1 KGGI. The visuals for the video were released a few weeks ago and have received a lot of media support from popular sites such as XXLMag.com, daxtv.com, therundown.tv, allhiphop.com, Hiphopsince1987.com and a host of other websites. 2012 will be a phenomenal year for Micky Munday and the Press Ent According to Micky, “ American Beauty is the most recent part of my life story. I decided to tell my story backwards starting with the bottle poppin and the club life and working my way back in time to struggle and pain. This mixtape is the intro into my album “American Ugly,” which takes you even further in the beginning.”

With the release of “American Beauty,” The Press plans to take Micky Munday on the road for a promo tour. His live show is high-energy and leaves a lasting impression. “American Beauty” is a classic project and the objective is to introduce him to new markets.
