Artistic Tuesday #8

Here is the eighth Artistic Tuesday post. Enjoy yourself! If you don't know what a Artistic Tuesday post is, check out all the info here. This stunning timelapse masterpiece is a tour de force of lights through the “City of Angels.” Using a FloatCam DC motion control slider to produce beautiful long exposure shots on his Canon 5D Mark II, Colin Rich shows off the city of Los Angeles in grand fashion.

Set to the epic tones of M83′s “Echoes of Mine,” ”NightFall” is a three-minute consummation of what undoubtedly took days and nights of scouring for strategic viewpoints to achieve. Aptly named after Colin’s favorite time to shoot, “NightFall” presents some truly breathtaking transition moments between day and night. The song’s French lyrics translated: “I can barely see nature when suddenly, night falls. I am engulfed by a world of silence, yet I am not afraid. I fall asleep for a few minutes at the most, and when I wake up, the sun is there and the forest is shining with a bright light.”
