Cashletes Interview

Tell us about your brand. What’s the name? How did it come to be?
Cashletes is what we call the brand for "financial champions". The brand represents the relentless pursuit of financial victory. We draw inspiration from the practice and glory of competitive sport and the American dream of affluence. Our own "road to riches", on which we've started dozens of ventures all for the same end-goal, is basically what inspired the start of the brand.

How would you describe the style of your brand? Who do you see wearing it?
Cashletes offers a product line that reflects classic sportswear and merchandising, but with an added twist of money mindedness. It's usually worn by young and money-hungry individuals with wealthy aspirations.
Everyone today seems to have a clothing line; how do you make yours better or stand out more than others?
I like to think of Cashletes as uplifting and motivational clothing. Wearing our brand you'll feel good and look great, and at the same time know you're representing the hustle.
Since the start of your clothing line, what has been your favorite piece? Why?
Hard to choose one, but few of my favorite pieces are the FCL Varsity Jacket, the IHE Tee, and the Cashletes Arch Crewneck. Mainly because I personally like the color black and clean, simple designs.
Speaking of favorite pieces, who designs the clothes and comes up with the concepts?
I design all the pieces, and my business partner/brother and I work together on new concepts.
What was your day to day before starting the brand? Did you always think you would do what you do now?
As previously mentioned, before starting the brand our day to day was much like it is now. We were always starting new business ventures using our skills to create things we could profit from. We're "artrepreneurs" and we've been for a very long time.
What is the biggest challenge you have ran into while running a clothing brand?
One of the biggest challenges is raising money in the start-up phase to get your brand off the ground. And then consistently having financial backing throughout the first few years to execute things as planned. Luckily, we have more than one money-machine, as we run multiple businesses.
What’s the best part of running a clothing line?
The best part of running a clothing brand is picturing a piece in your head and then seeing it created in real life. Nothing beats seeing a finished product for the first time.
What’s in the near future for your brand? Anything special coming up?
In addition to our upcoming Fall/Winter releases (new tees, crewnecks, outerwear, hats) , we've got a weekly giveaway coming soon, so be sure to look out for that!
Where can we find more about your brand?
You can learn more about the brand at Cashletes.com and follow us at Twitter and at Facebook.
