Fuggin' Friday #51

Here is the fifty-first Fuggin' Friday feature. Enjoy! If you don't know what a Fuggin' Friday post is, check out all the info here.

Kenzo x Vans 2012 Fall/Winter Footwear

The ongoing partnership between Kenzo and Vans sees an array of footwear styles presented that are appropriate for the changing of the seasons. Having seen bold and summery colors in the past, this roll out sees more subdued blocking – while still employing past favorites like a multicolored grape print and a stylish marble offering. Styles will retail starting at $125 USD and will be available at Kenzo stores and online – as well as at select retail partners including Opening Ceremony, Selfridges, Liberty, colette and IT Hong Kong.

Danny MacAskill vs. San Francisco Short Film

Bursting onto the scene last year with his smooth style and seemingly-impossible stunts, professional BMX rider and Inspired Bicycles pro Danny MacAskill recently hit the streets of San Francisco for a new short film. Presented by Remington, the video showcases the power, precision and control that are at the heart of the Scottish-born street trials rider’s techniques as the likes of the Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco Bay, Transamerica Pyramid, and the city’s signature fog provide a backdrop.

Big Sean – RWT | Video

Big Sean has just released the latest visuals to the track “RWT,” an abbreviation for “Roll Weed Time.” Directed by Mike Carson and Mike Waxx, the video follows Big Sean for an outing in the woods as he takes in the view and chops up some trees — literally. The video makes use of quick pans and mirrored visuals and the effects are synced perfectly over each of producer SouthSide’s trap-styled snare rolls. This video should hold you down for now, as the artist’s new mixtape, Detroit is set to dropped yesterday!

The Videographers Guide Ep. 1 – The Music Video

The Videographers Guide is a web series documenting young filmmakers as they produce short videos for the web in a variety of genres. In this inaugural episode, the topic of music videos and their place in our rapidly-changing new media landscape is discussed with a host of industry insiders and professionals. The feature delves into the beginnings of the music video, from its role as a big-budget sales vehicle to the confusing space which it occupies now, at a time when singles, mixtapes and free downloads dominate the musical scene. Watch the video above and be sure to visit The Videographers Guide website for more information and how you can contribute to the ongoing series.

Livestock x The Hundreds Video

Cross-border relations get a boost as Vancouver’s Livestock and Fairfax’s The Hundreds align for an upcoming fall/winter capsule. Both brands are no strangers to one another, having previously joined forces several years ago with éS on a two-pack of collaborative skate shoes. With The Hundreds now enjoying their own footwear program, the current project focuses on a pair of Riley Lows and a jacket. Check The Hundreds and Livestock for more details and a release date.

Hope you enjoyed the newest post for the Fuggin' Friday feature. Tune in next week for another Fuggin' Friday weekly post!
