Kanye West – White Dress (Alternate Version)

One of the highly anticipated songs on RZA‘s first film The Man with the Iron Fists was this Kanye West offering titled “White Dress.” During the creation process of the song, there was this version, featuring Tru James of Wu-Tang’s affiliated soul group Stone Mecca. It’s a more stripped down production driven by an upbeat piano composition that gives the laid-back beat more soul than the original. The additional angelic vocal sample strewn across the track complemented by a more distinct loop could have you thinking this is an entirely new song altogether. Hit play below and see which version you liked better.
