When deciding the cover for The Source’s 3rd annual Rookie Of The Year, The Source staff decided it was a no brainer! Kendrick Lamar has one of the biggest albums of the year in ‘good kid, m.A.A.d city,’ and he won Lyricist Of The Year at the 2012 BET Awards over Jay-Z, Kanye West, Nas and J.Cole.
