What's in The Based Update's Mailbox feat Radii Footwear

We have a first in the line of 'WITBUMs' aka What's in The Based Update's Mailbox! This time we are reviewing footwear, yes footwear! Not too long ago we got an incredible package from Radii Footwear! Please continue below to see what they hooked us up with!!

Packaging: The packaging from Radii Footwear comes together perfectly and even more so the packaging itself is unique! When it comes to inside the box, everything is as it should be; you have the shoes under some paper and then extra padding with more paper inside of the shoes. But, lets get to the box, it resembles a cereal box with a Radii twist! With sayings like "Jumpstart your steeze," "The Footwear of Champions," "Fresh Kix Guaranteed," and even small marked percentages of "100% Jealously and Leather Freshness" you have to love the effort to make the box of the shoes stand out! I love it!

Design: This overall shoe design from Radii Footwear is what caught my attention like I mentioned before. With this particular shoe style, the 'Straight Jacket VLC,' it's not just the 'Charcoal Herringbone Burgundy' color scheme that already catches a second look; its the side zipper, the multiple straps... its the whole shoe! This shoe will enhance any outfit you have because its just enough of a shoe, but not too much which is what makes it perfect! Obvious observations are that this shoe is unique, stylish, and now at least for me, a necessity. Radii really did a great job by making a shoe with the concept of a straight jacket. A comment I read about the shoe that I like and I agree with is, "they are beyond a rating, they're a representation of a status."

Quality: The quality from Radii Footwear continues on with only great things to say in the Straight Jacket VLC series. I have worn these shoes now around LA and at home in the Bay and they are nothing but comfortable. The normal break in on the first day or two is normal, but after that you are all set! There is great and over the top padding all around the back of the shoe where you would feel the most wear and tear on other shoes. Moving forward, when you fully lace up, buckle up and zip up your feet are going nowhere! I mean these shoes are ready to go! Very comfortable and they seem to be very durable as well!

What's Left: Usually in this part of the review I would talk about accessories, but in this case its a shoe review so lets dig in to what I think is an extra with this shoe! To take your shoe to the next level Radii includes an extra strap with a different color and laces to match, so you can easily switch your top strap and laces to a another color! Its simple and useful because you can change colors to get a different look from the same shoe! Going back to the cereal box in the packaging, Radii Footwear continues its effort to take it to the next level with an actual spoon on your shoe! As you can see below the tag is a spoon to go with your cereal box! I just want to applaud Radii for that because I pay attention to those little things and I think its genius! Also included in this package were stickers that took effort as well with Radii's takes on iconic logos like Gatorade, Trojan, Los Angeles Kings and more!

Is it Approved? Hell yes it is! Go get yourself a new pair of shoes! Its one day before Thanksgiving which means that Friday is Black Friday! What you need to now is visit the website and add a pair of these shoes to your Christmas lists! Tell your your mom, dad, friends and family to hook you up with a pair of Straight Jacket VLC's from Radii Footwear! As a side-note, if you like to go crazy or you like to just keep it plain there are over 25 color schemes for you to choose from! You can go crazy or you can go simple, but you will stand out with these kicks!
